EVV Visit Eligibility
A visit is determined to be eligible for EVV by state-specific criteria, for example:
- Medicaid Payer ID
- Service code
- Service location
- Start date
- Recipient demographics (if applicable, e.g. home address)
EVV Statuses in AccuPoint
- EVV Not Initiated
- Eligible EVV session that has been scheduled
- Must have a check-in/out in order to be Completed
- Every time there is a change to the session, the system will apply validation
- EVV Not Processed
- Eligible EVV session has been Completed by the user
- Visit is Ready for Submission to the aggregator/state, but has not been picked up yet
- If a user wants to hold the session back from being submitted, uncheck “Ready for EVV submission” in the calendar item
- EVV Processing
- The session has been picked up by our system for submission to the aggregator/state
- Session details should not be changed (changes will not be sent to the state)
- “Ready for EVV submission” checkbox cannot be unchecked
- EVV Submitted
- Session successfully submitted to the aggregator/state
- This status does not confirm that a corresponding claim will be paid, only that the EVV visit data was submitted successfully
- EVVAmend
- The aggregator/state has rejected the visit data
- The “Ready for EVV submission” checkbox will be automatically unchecked
- An email will be sent to the address we have on file for error notifications with details about the cause of the rejection (we request this email address in the go-live checklist)
- An admin user will need to locate the session and correct the error
